Funding

 

Do you have a program or idea that needs funding? The Residence Hall Association may be able to help! RHA offers funding to well thought-out, planned events, programs, or causes that benefit residence hall students. See below for some examples of the kinds of programs we generally fund. Please see the funding process page for more information on how to receive funds.


Ideal Programs/Uses of RHA Funds

These are examples of programs RHA looks to fund 

  • Residence Hall Programs
  • Campus-Wide Programs, Put On By Residence Halls
  • Campus-Wide Social Programs (Up All Night, Week of Welcome, etc.)
  • Awareness Programs
  • Philanthropy
  • Internal Programs (Conferences, etc.)

Undesirable Uses of RHA Funds

These are examples of programs RHA does not wish to fund 

  • Programs Not Affecting Residence Hall Students
  • Alcohol And/Or Drug Related Events
  • Individual Students
  • Conference Visits (Unless Internally)

These guidelines are maintained in most cases, but are always subject to the change or discretion of the Finance Committee and council.
